Sono state annunciate dall’American Cinema Editors le nomine della 57esime edizione degli ACE Eddie Awards.

L’American Cinema Editors (ACE) ha annunciato le nomination per la 74esima edizione degli ACE Eddie Awards, che premiano il montaggio eccezionale in 14 categorie di cinema, televisione e documentari.

Per i film drammatici distribuiti nelle sale i nominati sono Anatomy of a Fall, Killers of the Flower Moon, Maestro, Oppenheimer e Past Lives. Per la prima volta nella storia degli ACE, quattro dei cinque candidati al dramma sono donne. Per quanto riguarda invece la commedia ci sono Air, American Fiction, Barbie, The Holdovers e Poor Things.

Come annunciato in precedenza inoltre, il regista John Waters riceverà il premio ACE Golden Eddie Filmmaker of the Year, i montatori Kate Amend e Walter Murch i Career Achievement Awards, e Stephen Lovejoy riceverà l’Heritage Award.

I vincitori della 74esima edizione degli ACE Eddie Awards verranno rivelati domenica 3 marzo alla Royce Hall dell’UCLA durante uno speciale brunch celebrativo, presentato dalla concorrente, performer e attivista queer di Drag Race Nina West, fresca della sua acclamata performance nei panni di Edna Turnblad nel secondo anno della produzione itinerante nazionale di Hairspray.
