American Cinema Editors: le nomine della 76esima edizione

Le nomination della 76esima edizione degli American Cinema Editors, menzionati Hamnet, Bugonia e Pluribus.

L’American Cinema Editors (ACE) ha annunciato le nomination della 76ª edizione degli ACE Eddie Awards, che premiano i migliori montaggi in 14 categorie: cinema, televisione, documentari e, per la prima volta nella storia degli ACE Eddie, cortometraggi e contenuti digitali. I vincitori saranno svelati durante la cerimonia degli ACE Eddie Awards, venerdì 27 febbraio 2026, presso la Royce Hall dell’UCLA.

Dei dieci lungometraggi candidati (l’ACE distingue tra commedia e dramma), tutti e cinque i film nominati agli Oscar sono rappresentati: F1, Sentimental Value e Sinners per il dramma, e Marty Supreme e One Battle After Another per la commedia. La selezione ACE include anche Hamnet, Weapons, Bugonia, Wake Up Dead Man e Wicked: For Good. Frankenstein, pur molto discusso, non ha ricevuto nemmeno la nomination agli Oscar.

In televisione, come riportato da AwardsWatch, tra i candidati per il dramma figurano Andor, The Pitt, Pluribus e due episodi di Severance, mentre tra le serie comiche si distinguono Hacks, The Chair Company e The Studio.
