Annunciate le nomine della 30esima edizione degli Art Directors Guild Awards, i vincitori saranno svelati il 28 febbraio.
Sono state annunciate le nomination della 30ª edizione degli Art Directors Guild Awards, che premiano l’eccellenza nella scenografia e nel production design tra cinema, televisione, pubblicità e video musicali. Tra i candidati di quest’anno figurano Marty Supreme, The Fantastic Four: First Steps, Wake Up Dead Man, Murderbot e il videoclip “Abracadabra” di Lady Gaga.
L’Art Directors Guild, che conta oltre 3.000 membri, suddivide i principali premi cinematografici nelle categorie Fantasy, Storico e Contemporaneo, mentre per la televisione le nomination variano in base alla durata e al genere. Storicamente, i riconoscimenti dell’ADG, come riportato da AwardsWatch, si sono rivelati un forte indicatore degli Oscar: in 20 casi su 29, i vincitori hanno poi conquistato anche l’Academy Award per la scenografia, come accaduto lo scorso anno con Nathan Crowley e Lee Sandales per Wicked.
I vincitori saranno annunciati il 28 febbraio durante la cerimonia alla Ray Dolby Ballroom dell’Ovation Hollywood. Nel corso dell’evento verranno inoltre assegnati i Lifetime Achievement Awards a Bo Welch, Jann Engel, Tom Southwell e Stephen McNally.
