I 28esimi Art Directors Guild Awards, il sindacato scenografi cinematografici e televisivi, hanno annunciato i loro vincitori nel corso della cerimonia condotta da Max Greenfield (New Girl) in diretta dalla Ray Dolby Ballroom dell’Ovation Hollywood.
A trionfare nelle rispettive categorie sono stati Oppenheimer, Poor Things, The Great e The Bear. I premi alla carriera sono stati assegnati a Francine West, David Lowery, Wynn P. Thomas e Greg Papalia, nonché al leggendario scenografo Lawrence G. Paull (Blade Runner, Ritorno al futuro, All’inseguimento della pietra) che sono stati inseriti inoltre nella ADG Hall of Fame. Il celebre regista Mimi Leder (Deep Impact, ER, The Morning Show) ha ricevuto invece il premio Cinematic Imagery.
