ASC Awards 2026: annunciate le nomine

Le nomination dell’American Society of Cinematographers, presenti Frankenstein e Marty Supreme, fuori invece Hamnet.

L’American Society of Cinematographers (ASC) ha annunciato le nomination per i migliori direttori della fotografia nei lungometraggi. I candidati alla 40ª edizione degli ASC Outstanding Achievement Awards, come riportato da AwardsWatch, sono Frankenstein (Netflix) di Dan Laustsen, Marty Supreme (A24) di Darius Khondji, One Battle After Another (Warner Bros.) di Michael Bauman, Sinners (Warner Bros.) di Autumn Durald Arkapaw e Train Dreams (Netflix) di Adolpho Veloso, mentre il lavoro di Łukasz Żal su Hamnet resta escluso.

Il numero delle candidature può variare da cinque a dieci in base ai voti ricevuti; tutti i film selezionati rientrano anche nella shortlist Oscar per la fotografia, composta da 16 titoli. Per la televisione figurano invece The Studio, Andor, The White Lotus, Hacks, Task e Severance.

La cerimonia della 40ª edizione degli ASC Awards si terrà l’8 marzo al Beverly Hilton di Beverly Hills. Nel corso della serata saranno inoltre consegnati il Lifetime Achievement Award a Robert Yeoman, ASC, il Career Achievement in Television Award a M. David Mullen, ASC, il Presidents Award a Cynthia Pusheck, ASC e l’Award of Distinction a Stephen Pizzello.
