La Chicago Film Critics Association, come riportato da AwardsWatch, ha annunciato i premi 2025: Una Battaglia dopo l’Altra di Paul Thomas Anderson ha stabilito un record con nove vittorie, tra cui Miglior Film, Regia e i premi a Benicio del Toro e Teyana Taylor, superando così il precedente primato di The Power of the Dog.
Rose Byrne è la Miglior Attrice per If I Had Legs I’d Kick You, mentre Timothée Chalamet vince come Miglior Attore per Marty Supreme. Il regista iraniano Jafar Panahi ottiene la Migliore Sceneggiatura Originale con It Was Just an Accident, e il riconoscimento Miglior Film Internazionale.
Il premio per il Miglior Documentario va a The Perfect Neighbor di Geeta Gandbhir, mentre Netflix vince l’Animazione con KPop Demon Hunters.
La rivelazione Chase Infiniti invece ha ricevuto il Most Promising Performer, ed Eva Victor il Milos Stehlik Breakthrough Filmmaker Award per Sorry, Baby.
