Dorian Film Award 2026: Una Battaglia dopo l’Altra e Sinners guidano le nomine

Una Battaglia dopo l’Altra, Sinners e Eva Victor con Sorry, Baby dominano le nomination ai Dorian Film Award 2026.

GALECA, la Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics e seconda più grande organizzazione di giornalisti dell’intrattenimento al mondo, ha annunciato le nomination ai Dorian Film Award 2026, che premiano le migliori produzioni mainstream e a tema LGBTQ. In testa ci sono One Battle After Another di Paul Thomas Anderson con nove candidature, il thriller Sinners di Ryan Coogler con otto e il biopic Marty Supreme di Josh Safdie con cinque.

Tra le performance più attese, come riportato da AwardsWatch, Rose Byrne, Timothée Chalamet, Jessie Buckley, Ethan Hawke, Michael B. Jordan, Dylan O’Brien e Tessa Thompson si contendono la Miglior interpretazione cinematografica, mentre Jacob Elordi, Wunmi Mosaku e Teyana Taylor sono in lizza come non protagonisti. Tra le nuove promesse spiccano Odessa A’zion, Miles Caton e Chase Infiniti, in corsa per il premio Stella Nascente, mentre i riconoscimenti Wilde Artist e LGBTQIA+ Film Trailblazer vedono tra i candidati nomi come Ryan Coogler, Gregg Araki e Kristen Stewart.

Eva Victor si conferma protagonista con il suo film d’esordio Sorry, Baby, in gara per Film dell’Anno e Film LGBTQ dell’Anno, mentre lei stessa è candidata per sceneggiatura, Rising Star e LGBTQ Trailblazer. I film non in lingua inglese, tutti distribuiti da NEON, includono It Was Just an Accident e Sentimental Value.

Il vincitore del Timeless Star Award sarà annunciato il 3 marzo al Dorians Film Toast 2026 a Los Angeles, in un’occasione dedicata a celebrare i talenti creativi della comunità.
