Sinners domina i Dorian Awards della Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics; premi per Rose Byrne e Amy Madigan.
La Society of LGBTQ Entertainment Critics, la seconda più grande organizzazione di giornalisti dello spettacolo al mondo, ha annunciato i vincitori dei Dorian Film Awards 2026. A dominare, come riportato da AwardsWatch, è stato Sinners, che si è affermato come il film più premiato dell’anno con sette riconoscimenti.
L’epopea horror storica diretta da Ryan Coogler ha conquistato anche il premio per Film dell’Anno, mentre lo stesso Coogler è stato premiato come Regista dell’Anno e nominato Artista Wilde dell’Anno, confermando la forte risonanza culturale del film e il suo successo sia presso il pubblico sia tra i critici.
Tra i premi per la recitazione, Rose Byrne ha vinto per la Migliore interpretazione cinematografica dell’anno, mentre Amy Madigan si è aggiudicata il riconoscimento per la Migliore interpretazione non protagonista.
Il regista Gregg Araki ha ricevuto l’LGBTQIA+ Film Trailblazer Award per il suo impegno di lunga data nel racconto queer, mentre Eva Victor è stata nominata Stella Nascente.
Il Timeless Star Award è andato al leggendario attore Tim Curry, celebrato per una carriera iconica che va dal cult The Rocky Horror Picture Show a numerose interpretazioni tra cinema, teatro, animazione e videogiochi. Tra i precedenti vincitori figurano Jane Fonda, Rita Moreno, John Waters, Ian McKellen, Angela Lansbury e Nathan Lane.
