Latino Entertainment Journalists Association Film Awards: Past Lives è il miglior film della sesta edizione

La sesta edizione dei Latino Entertainment Journalists Association Film Awards ha incoronato Past Lives miglior film.

Past Lives, esordio alla regia di Celine Song, è il miglior film della sesta edizione dei Latino Entertainment Journalists Association (LEJA) Film Awards. Il film porta a casa anche il riconoscimento per la miglior sceneggiatura originale assegnato alla Song.

L’attore afro-latino Colman Domingo ha vinto come miglior attore per il suo ruolo in Rustin, e come miglior attore non protagonista per l’interpretazione in Il colore viola. Miglior attrice non protagonista è stata decretata Lily Gladstone per Killers of the Flower Moon a pari merito con Da’Vine Joy Randolph per The Holdovers.

Il live-action Barbie invece ha conquistato il maggior numero di premi quest’anno, ovvero: la migliore sceneggiatura non originale (Greta Gerwig e Noah Baumbach); la miglior produzione e scenografia (Sarah Greenwood e Katie Spencer); i migliori costumi (Jacqueline Durran); il miglior design di capelli e trucco (Ivana Primorac); e la miglior canzone per “I’m Just Ken” (scritta da Mark Ronson e Andrew Wytt; eseguita da Ryan Gosling).

Oppenheimer invece ne vince quattro come miglior regista per Christopher Nolan, montaggio (Jennifer Lame), suono (Richard King, Gary A. Rizzo, Kevin O’Connell e Willie Burton) e colonna sonora (Ludwig Göransson).

Quest’anno, LEJA ha anche premiato l’attore, comico, produttore e sceneggiatore messicano Eugenio Derbez con il Premio Rita Moreno alla carriera, assegnato in precedenza tra l’altro anche a Jennifer Lopez, John Leguizamo e Rosie Perez.
