Marty Supreme diretto da Josh Safdie è il miglior film dell’anno per il Midnight Critics Circle Awards, che ha annunciato i vincitori.

Il Midnight Critics Circle (MCC) Awards ha incoronato Marty Supreme come miglior film dell’anno. Il film, come riportato da AwardsWatch, ha portato a casa anche il premio per il miglior attore, assegnato a Timothée Chalamet.

It Was Just an Accident è stato uno dei titoli più premiati della serata, conquistando tre riconoscimenti: miglior regia e miglior sceneggiatura originale a Jafar Panahi, oltre al premio per il miglior film internazionale. Panahi ha inoltre ricevuto il premio alla carriera dal gruppo.

Josh O’Connor (Wake Up Dead Man) ha vinto come miglior attore non protagonista, mentre Inga Ibsdotter Lilleaas (Sentimental Value) si è aggiudicata quello per la miglior attrice non protagonista. Il riconoscimento per la miglior attrice protagonista è andato infine a Rose Byrne per If I Had Legs I’d Kick You.
