Nella serata conclusiva della 57ª edizione dei NAACP Image Awards, Sinners ha dominato, vincendo il premio come Miglior Film. Michael B. Jordan ha conquistato i premi come Attore in un Film e Intrattenitore dell’Anno, dedicando il riconoscimento al collega scomparso Chadwick Boseman: “Il nostro tempo su questo pianeta è breve…voglio solo essere presente con voi il più possibile”, ha detto. Miles Caton ha portato a tre le vittorie del film, vincendo come Miglior Interprete Rivelazione, mentre Cynthia Erivo è stata nominata per Wicked: For Good.
