North Carolina Critics Awards: Jane Campion con “Il Potere del Cane” domina come Miglior Film, Regia, Sceneggiatura Adattata, Miglior Attore Protagonista e Non Protagonista
La North Carolina Film Critics Awards, composta da cinquantacinque critici cinematografici che vivono e/o lavorano in North Carolina, ha annunciato i suoi vincitori, decretando “Il Potere del Cane” di Jane Campion il Miglior Film del 2021, nonché anche la Miglior Regia, la Miglior Sceneggiatura Adattata, la Miglior Scenografia, il Miglior Attore Protagonista assegnato a Benedict Cumberbatch, e il Miglior Attore non Protagonista a Kodi Smit – McPhee.
Miglior Attrice Protagonista Jessica Chastain per “The eyes of Tammy Faye”, mentre Miglior Attrice non Protagonista a Ann Dowd per “Mass”. “Licorice Pizza” di Paul Thomas Anderson porta a casa il riconoscimento per la Miglior Sceneggiatura Originale, infine “Drive my Car” è il Miglior Film in Lingua Straniera.
