Nella categoria principale figurano, come riportato da AwardsWatch, anche F1, Jurassic World: Rebirth, How to Train Your Dragon e The Lost Bus. Tutti, tranne How to Train Your Dragon, restano in corsa per gli Oscar.

In televisione guidano Stranger Things, The Last of Us e Prehistoric Planet: Ice Age, tutte con quattro candidature.
