La Hawaii Film Critics Society (HFCS) ha premiato Barbie come miglior film del 2023, assegnando al film anche i riconoscimenti per il miglior attore non protagonista (Ryan Gosling), la migliore direzione artistica e la migliore canzone (“What Was I Made For?).
Oppenheimer ha portato a casa ben 5 premi, ovvero: miglior regista, miglior attore (Cillian Murphy), miglior sceneggiatura adattata, miglior montaggio e miglior colonna sonora. Past Lives di Celine Song invece ha vinto la migliore attrice (Greta Lee), la migliore sceneggiatura originale e il miglior regista esordiente.
